Posted:  10 Sep 2007 16:00
Did you hear at the mtv music awards Kid Rock punched Tommy Lee, and Lee didn't get a lick in. Before that Kid Rock knocked down an apartment door he thought was Tommy's and wound up at the wrong address. He at least signed autographs for the poor people.

Anybody find a video on the fight post it. I tried to find it at youtube with no luck.

I'll give a look for it later.

What has this to do with politics?

Well Kid Rock is a republican.........I think........
That's all I got. Sorry, I just thought it was cool. I didn't know where to post it. We can occassionaly stray from political focus can't we?

It's your site, we can stray all the way away if you like.

My question was simply out of curiosity.

I thought you were starting something. Don't make me pull a Kid Rock on you.

Impossible. Kid Rock is cool. You couldn't pull it off.

I'm afraid we differ significantly on this issue Pak. I'm no Tommy Lee fan, but I'll put my support behind him as the lesser of two evils. Perhaps a third party? Borat?

What?

Borat? Danny who was the coolest band when you were a teenager?
We can't call you old are anything because by today's teen standards me and pak are over the hill too I suppose. Of course I'm in better shape than most teens.

So who was it, the Beatles maybe?

John Lennon was murdered before I was a teen. How old are you trying to make us Tim?

Whatever band is coolest doesn't change my opinion of any performer.

I'm thinking maybe Danny is older than us. I figure you are like a 80's teen. Probably didn't watch Family Ties though I bet. One of my heroes was Alex Keaton.

I watched Family Ties, matter of fact one of those shows is one of my favorite TV episodes ever.

The one I'm talking about was an hour long episode near the show's end run. It was about Alex coping with his friend's death and his own morality and so on. The second half was just him on a blacklit stage, live , with no cennercials for the full half hour. One of the best pieces of acting I have ever seen.

Guys... seriously.

It is well known that Borat's love for Pamela Anderson was the straw that broke the camel's back in her marraige to Kid Rock.

After Borat tried to "get her in the sack" (see the movie), Rock couldn't take it anymore.

Also of significance might have been Borat's tearful admission to some people attempting to console him.

Quote:
"No, no... she do thengs weeth a man on a boat... for wheech I can neever forgeeve her."

Maybe that sounded familliar to Kid Rock. Maybe a little too familliar.

Which brings us to one Mr. Thomas Lee, aka: The man on the boat.

I have never seen the infamous tape, in which Tommy Lee became far more famous than he ever was as a hair metal drummer. But I have heard, and I'm sure Kid Rock has too.

Yeah- all that went down years before Kid and Pam got together, but apparently Kid's failing career has not helped any lingering insecurities.

I come down on Hank Williams III's side of the Kid Rock debate. Tommy Lee I just think is a dumb guy living a charmed life- but he did beat up his wife.

So what can I say? Clearly all of these guys are still hot for Pam Anderson. Can you fault me for backing Borat? At least he's entertaining.

And regarding my age- sorry Tim, guess again!

And the Beatles are actually the coolest band to come about thus far, regardless of one's age or when they attended high school.

Nearly 40 years after they split, they have continued to influence other artists ever since.

how pathetic. 2 forty year olds fighting over a chick. 2 forty year old pussies i might add. you'd think they were in high school. and i saw the footage, it was nothing. i guess it shows their intelligence levels. what a coupla dummies.

Um-they're fighting over Pamela Anderson(even with the HepB, CMON) if that's what it was actually about.

No way, will wonders never cease. Did you ever watch the Dukes, Miami Vice, A-team, and the Incredible Hulk by any chance?

Oh man all I could see on the video link was people holding the dudes back from fighting.

True true, hey and at least they weren't shooting at each other. I would suggest they make it into an event put some boxing gloves on and film it. Bet they'd make a lot of money.

Celebrity death match, not in clay. Works for me.

Yes to the Dukes of Hazard, A-Team and Incredible Hulk. Fill in those lineups with BJ and the Bear and Knight Rider.

I just realized something very sad. We have both wasted so much of our lives on TV Tim. Anyways, do you remember that episode of Family Ties I was talking about?

I barely remember that episode. I do think I liked it, but I haven't seen Family Ties. Seems like the last time it was on in reruns it came on at times I couldn't catch it very much.

Weird you liked all the shows I liked as a kid. What happened? Did you start watching Rosanne or something?

Not that much, I try to do other things too, it's just a great way to find common ground with others without talking about the weather. Cause you know whenever you get around family and inlaws you start mentioning religion or politics and all hell breaks loose. Heck, I get into with people that are supposed to believe exactly the same thing I believe. So TV is usually a safe subject. It's like base in tag. Either that or just nod your head and agree, and smile a lot. That works too.

B.J. had a pet monkey and drove a big rig everywhere. His enemy was Sheriff Lobo like the Dukes had Sheriff Rosco only Lobo got his own show a year later.

This is the Lobo intro. It's hilarious. I miss that show. It sucked the second season though when he moved to Atlanta.

My parents put Three's Company off limits. I don't think I missed much. Hated Rosanne. I'll just list the ones you listed I didn't watch. Be easier. I watched about the same stuff you did except for

Soap (off limits by parents too)
That's my Mama - never heard of it, heard of a show called mama's house or something like that.

Battle of the Planets - just never saw it.
In the Heat of the Night
Renegade
Golden Girls - saw it a couple of times. wasn't a favorite

Law & Order
Will & Grace - oh heck no
Yu-Gi-Oh - ditto

MTV Bam shows
Dog the Bounty Hunter
King of Cars
Family Guy
American Dad

I love these shows
Twilight Zone(old and newer) I have new ones on dvd
Outer Limits(newer better than older) I agree old one not that good

Monkees - want the dvd, but very expensive.

What you didn't watch the Six Million Dollar Man and the bionic woman?
