she said: "suck it jesus." totally awesome. now watch all the evangelicals go nuts. but before you guys do, think. is it really that big a deal? do you really care what she thinks? and don't you have bigger things to worry about?

Why is it so important to you to offend evangelicals? If she said suck it homos, you would be crying in your beer.

Second she didn't say anything against evangelicals. That sounds like an attack against Jesus Christ to me.

This whole eww it's fun to make Christians mad thing is what makes me mad, and makes it enjoyable for me to make you atheistic sissies mad, and it doesn't take much. You'll probably have your eyeballs pop out of your head for the use of the word sissie seeing as how it's so politically incorrect.

Let's see how you like it.

How many atheists does it take to screw in a light bulb?

But the backdrops peel and the sets give way and the cast get eaten by the play, there's a murderer at the matinee, there are dead men in the aisles

And the patrons and the actors too are uncertain if the show is through and with sidelong looks await their cue, but the frozen mask just smiles

don't homos already suck it tim? anyways, i've seen kathy griffen over the years and i never found her that funny. but she has this new show called "My Life on the D List" and it's actually not bad. but i've only seen 3 episodes. and tim, you know from my past posts that "fag" jokes don't bother me. i make jokes about minorities and gays. so what? it doesn't mean i don't consider them equals who deserve the same rights that I, as a young white heterosexual male, have. i thought it was funny when anne colter called John Edwards a fag. granted i was laughing AT her and not WITH her but... secondly, i never said i was an atheist. every assumption you have ever made about me has been wrong. every one i have made about you or DH has been right on the mark. you guys are so easy to define because you live in your own little religious worlds. you guys have no idea what the real world is like. you can't see 2 feet past your own bible. you guys are basically like the Taliban. you would impose your religious beliefs on everybody if you could. but you can't. and that pisses you off. that's why you guys feel like your always "under attack." as if she's "attacking" jesus.  and i'll let you in on a little secret. i don't sweat the small stuff. nothing you say pisses me off. do you really think i care if you make fun of Peter Singer or Bill Maher. one of my favorite shows is Southpark and they've made fun of both those guys. and i don't care if you call me a fag or a pussy cause i know i'm not. i grew up with friends in street gangs. one of my best friends was in the Hells Angels before he was murdered. i've been in plenty of scraps at the clubs and i have kicked a few asses in my day. i've also had my ass handed to me a few times as well. you can't win 'em all.  but i'm 32 now, a much different person than who i was when i was 22 or even 25. and you call Dems pussies... why? cause they read books? cause they resort to violence only as a last resort? cause they look for the cause of problems instead of just putting people in prison? a few weeks ago, Bill Maher was on Larry King and he described Republicans like this.  "Republicans, they're such sentimentalists. They purport to be these, you know, tough macho realists. But really, what they always fall for is that lump-in-the-throat moment. You know, Rudy Guillianni on 9/11, the great hero. Bush with the bullhorn, remember. Condie Rice passing Bush the note that said "Iraq is sovereign." It's on fire, but it's sovereign. Ronald Reagan, mourning in America, the mission accomplished banner. The reason we didn't think we needed a plan for Iraq is because they're sentimentalists. They thought, we're Americans... we're bringing freedom to people. That's all you need. And that's why half the people who were assigned to go over to Iraq didn't even have a passport. They didn't think they needed people with experience over there. A bunch of them were from that Pat Robertson clown college that has staffed half this Bush administration." That sums it up pretty nicely.

I consider you equal to a fag too. (eww slam) Seriously we should probably not throw that word around too much. Makes people mad.

Ok, normally I'd be mad, but what's the point.

yeah, like I can see me running around with a gun trying to force people to accept Jesus, for one forced conversions don't count in Christianity, for two Jesus turned the other cheek. I'm still working on that one mind you, but still I really hate violence so take it back or I'll bop you.

Look I'm not going to go into a contest of who has more street cred, but I've seen enough to know how folks live that don't know God and don't have much hope of anything on the street. So don't sit there and make assumptians of me of which you have no clue alright. I'll just say I've compared a lot of different ways of living when I was younger and found that the old ways were way better than the new. In fact I'd say the new modern ways were actually going backwards than forward. So I'm an old time religion kind of guy.

You need to be more open minded pal. You don't see attacks on Christianity even when you are the one doing it.

And being sentimental is ok. Jesus wept and He was the Son of God. Being a man doesn't mean you forget about being human. When you cry let it be for others and not for your own selficious reasons. That's the difference between a man and a boy.

sorry if i got a bit harsh there tim. of course sentimentality is okay. or at least it can be. but just like everything else, it can become a detriment. i still have birthday cards from my parents from 15 years ago that i refuse to throw out. how's that for sentimentality? i even have a coupla old love letters from ex GFs that i haven't even seen since high school. lol.

No problem, remember you got to have a sense of humor too to talk to me much. You never know when I'm serious or when I'm kidding. I was serious about the crying thing though.

I'd get rid of the old letters from girlfriends. They'll come back to bite you when your new girlfriend finds them.

I haven't watched emmy's since sometime in the 80's. I don't remember when it was, but I know I was hoping Miami Vice would win a bunch one year. They had tons of nominations but didn't win but like 4 emmies that first year they came on I think.
