But the backdrops peel and the sets give way and the cast get eaten by the play, there's a murderer at the matinee, there are dead men in the aisles

And the patrons and the actors too are uncertain if the show is through and with sidelong looks await their cue, but the frozen mask just smiles

I don't like sneaking laws into other laws, but I'm not for gambling online. Too many people lose money they could be using to buy stuff from my websites ads.

Lucky you if they get bitter enough that their online poker is shut down that they decide to buy comics instead.

Buying comic books is good wholesome entertainment. For the most part.

Would those be the comics with the gun and swordplay, the impossibly big breasted women, or the blood spattered brawls where neighborhoods are leveled?

Well to tell you the truth other than the big events and main tent pole characters I tend to read the old stuff more than anything. Lately I've been reading on a bunch of silver age Superman comics I ordered online.

Last issue I read Superman was able to bring together a radioactive father with his kids whom he thought were dead because he witnessed their robotic look alikes drowning. Luckily Superman figured it out and put a protective shield around the kids so they could see their dad.

Now if that don't bring a tear to your eye I don't know what would.

I meant which ones would be considered 'good wholesome entertainment'.

Superman, Spider-man, Hulk, maybe Batman.

Well they were all kid friendly just about when I was a kid.

Personally, I think comics should be intelligent enough for adults, but moral enough to let a kid read. If you can't show it to your mother without blushing then it's wrong.
