Quote:
MINNEAPOLIS – Temperatures crashed to Arctic levels Tuesday as a severe cold wave rolled across the upper Midwest on the heels of yet another snowstorm, closing schools and making most people think twice before going outside. Early Wednesday, the cold front swept into New York, sending temperatures falling from the 30s a day before to single digits or below zero. It hit 8 below in Massena, on the St. Lawrence River in northern New York, with the wind chill making it feel like minus 25 degrees.

Quote:
The weather service warned that exposed flesh can freeze in 10 minutes when the wind chill is 40 degrees below zero or colder.

At about 8 a.m., temperatures were minus 40 in International Falls and minus 35 in Roseau. Farther south, Minneapolis hit 18 below zero with a wind chill of 32 below and black ice was blamed for numerous accidents.

Quote:
Schools were closed because of the cold as far south as Iowa, and authorities in Grand Rapids, Mich., issued an extreme cold weather alert and went out urging the homeless to seek shelter.

I know I know Al Gore has it all figured out. If it's extremely cold. Blame it on global warming. If it's hot blame it on global warming, but just how often is it ever just perfect? Unless you live in Hawaii.

It's cold outside because it's winter and our environmental issues are gone. Halleleujah. How would we get by without your scientific wisdom?

But if global warming doesn't make it warm then what's the point? Looks like now it ought to be called global cooling.

The climate change affects the environment in several ways. Look some up.

The climate is always up and down though. It's too easy to blame it on global warming.

Don't get me wrong I'm all for not polluting. I just think Al Gore is out for a paycheck.

He took a very weird path for that paycheck then. By the way, the climate isn't dependant on Al Gore so you're kinda ducking the issue again.

It's up to you if you want to learn anything about the actual science of it, but I'm just gonna keep saying you're wrong when you post wrong stuff in the hopes you'll investigate for yourself. Fair enough?

I guess they think its global warming when winter is over and summer comes along. But I remember learing in kindegarten about the changing seasons. Spring- Hot, Summer- Very Hot, Fall- Cold, Winter- Very Cold. Maybe the environmentalists missed that lesson. Every year its going to get hot.

You seem to need a science class just as badly as him Steve, all your 'cleverness' aside.

With every post it's clearer you're clueless on the subject.
