Graph was a great way to illustrate how the interference of the federal government in the economy just makes things worse. The only time you notice in the graph where federal government spending helped was during World War II when defense spending was at an all time high.

I like Beck. You can tell he genuinely cares deeply for his subject matter. I am so afraid we are going to be having a bad economy for the next 4 years at least till we get another President.

And even then I'm not sure things would be great then. Heck just looking at the kind of people America votes for now. They want the government to wipe their butts for them.

Spending on wars(especially first strike wars) or keeping unnecessary military bases open or country building or playing world police should not be called 'defense spending'.
