Fears of fresh violence after police are pelted with bottles as they try to save dying protester

Police were braced for another day of violence in London today after officers were pelted with bottles as they tried to save a protester dying on the street.

The man, believed to be in his 30s, had collapsed at a makeshift camp set up near the Bank of England. He was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at hospital.

Protesters are already on the march in the capital again today as the G20 summit started in earnest to agree a rescue deal for the global economy.

Tensions were set to rise further this afternoon as demonstrators attempt to orchestrate a co-ordinated protest in response to the man's death.

It has now been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission for investigation.

I'm still trying to find out why they are protesting to begin with. I heard a news caption they want to abolish money or something nuts like that. I guess they might want 666 tattooed on their forehead for use as currency or something. I don't know.

They blame the banks and bankers for the state of the world today. They were just letting the bankers know it.

I think Bush, possibly Clinton,  and definitely Barney Frank and a lot of others are the biggest reasons we have the problems we have now with the economy.

They are the ones that wanted to give loans to those that couldn't afford to pay it back. Sure they said let's give everybody a home, but look how that turned out. Now everybody is suffering. Great job fellas.
