I'm afraid to even watch this guy. Is he going to tell me how stupid I am for believing in God again, or does he have something important to say.

You probably won't like the message, but it's not like you're suspecting, and he swears.

In a very oversimplified recap, his point is that they are manipulating their faith and the faithful to get votes and approval from the voters by misrepresenting what they are to be included under the umbrella term 'Christian'.

Which probably could be said of any group. Politicians try to relate themselves to as many groups as they possibly can based on how many votes they can get.

Like Mitt Romney trying to bond with the unemployed saying he was unemployed too. Yep. They do. The focus of the video was on just the one case of it that all the candidates do though; not the overarching theme of all cases of it.
