I love this. It's so true and funny. I really love that line, "What kind of commie crap is this", and the line about Santa Claus looking like Uncle Jessie.

He has his moments when he's very funny.  You ever watch Hee Haw when you were a kid? The only thing I ever liked from that show was that song that went something like this -

"I searched the world over and thought I found true love, you met another and sppu you were gone."  Anybody remember that?

But the backdrops peel and the sets give way and the cast get eaten by the play, there's a murderer at the matinee, there are dead men in the aisles

And the patrons and the actors too are uncertain if the show is through and with sidelong looks await their cue, but the frozen mask just smiles

Roy Clark was one of those guys. There was one guy that always wore his overalls backwards. I remember my mom always fussing about it.
