Quote:
"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." --Samuel Adams

I like that.

Here's another one...
Quote:
Among the natural rights of the colonists are these: First a right to life, secondly to liberty, and thirdly to property; together with the right to defend them in the best manner they can.
Or as Ted Nugent says
Quote:
The Second Amendment is my concealed weapon permit.

There is one thing I'm confused about. Is there a legitimate reason to conceal a weapon? Is this to keep bad guys from shooting you in the back possibly before you have a chance to shoot back?

It's my weapon, I should be able to carry it however I please whether you can see it or not. Besides, it keeps the bad guys guessing about who's armed and who's not.

That's what I was asking. I see it both ways. I don't want the crooks to know who has a gun, but on the other hand I like to know. I don't feel threatened when I walk around at a flea market and dudes are carrying rifles, but knowing some dudes have concealed weapons might make me a tad nervous. Maybe I don't know.

If I knew everyone else was carrying a gun. I think I'd go out and get me a permit too.
