What does this film say to you about our society in general? How corrupt are our governments and how burdened with crime are we in comparison? How close to the brink of disaster are we?

But the backdrops peel and the sets give way and the cast get eaten by the play, there's a murderer at the matinee, there are dead men in the aisles

And the patrons and the actors too are uncertain if the show is through and with sidelong looks await their cue, but the frozen mask just smiles

Odd. I realise you might not live in a big city but surely you have an opinion on big city life or society in general guys.

If you'd like the question another way-are these the end times and what do we do about it?

Let me see, have to realize I'm working so I miss things, plus I didn't look at the computer much all weekend.

I'm not sure if this film really makes me think about the end of the world. It's really a lot closer to what I used to imagine would be a good Batman movie than any ever before. This one seems like Batman is placed into a real city instead of one built in a movie studio.

I really don't get is how big cities can worry about making dog owners clean up their dog poop when they have so much crime in their inner cities. Maybe they need to refocus their resources to more pressing matters...you know like the safety of their fellow man.
