Are good guys like Harvey Dent(pre-scarring) and Jim Gordon really even possible in a totally corrupt infrastructure? When doing wrong and bending the rules and everyone out for themselves is the norm, why do good guys even try?

And the patrons and the actors too are uncertain if the show is through and with sidelong looks await their cue, but the frozen mask just smiles
