Quote:
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - In a sharp turnaround, Republican John McCain has opened a 5-point lead on Democrat Barack Obama in the U.S. presidential race and is seen as a stronger manager of the economy, according to a Reuters/Zogby poll released on Wednesday.

McCain leads Obama among likely U.S. voters by 46 percent to 41 percent, wiping out Obama's solid 7-point advantage in July and taking his first lead in the monthly Reuters/Zogby poll.

Probably because as of late McCain is being really straight forward. He says what he's for and that's it unlike Obama who goes on and on and on till everyone forgets what the question was.

I think Obama is messing up a lot lately. That could be the reason he's dropping in the polls. I hope Americans wake up and realize he's not the man we want for this country.

I wonder who they asked to determine what 'likely' voters are going to do.

CNN had Obama ahead on the state by state but there were so many toss ups.

Here's the thing though in politics you want to be on the side with the momentum. McCain is on the way up at the moment and Obama is on the way down. Where it stops nobody knows.

I just know who I'm voting for.

This is for the incoming President, not an episode of American Idol or The Apprentice.

Will that change when the momentum changes?

I'm just telling you what is usually case with public opinion. You know public opinion never fazes my opinion.

Your case with public opinion appears to be a personal opinion.
