I was on the internet earlier today doing some research on Sarah Palin for my local newspaper, and I found some interesting stuff about Ted Nugent I wasn't aware of. You know there's not that many conservatives in the enterntainment business, so I was especially impressed by some of Ted's words. Here's a few of the things the Motor City Madman said about Sarah Palin:

Quote:
That fireball is Gov.Sarah Palin of Alaska, I pray the next Vice President of the United States. Now I know why I have seen no one with any guts in the Republican Party in so long: the governor of Alaska has them all. Her speech last night was clearly a grand slam out-of-the-park home run. America, we have liftoff!

Quote:
Gov. Palin represents real hope and change. In her case, hope and change are not simply hollow words. As a city councilwoman, mayor and governor, she has achieved tangible results. She exudes energy and passion, has the experience and the skills, and is ready for the job. I couldn't be more excited for America.

Quote:
Last night, a political savior may have arrived. Ted Nugent at your service,Vice President-to-be Palin. I'm your biggest fan. Let's rock.

The Nuge has been one of the more entertaining occasional political commentators for years.

Ted Nugent is awesome.

My favorite Ted Nugent song is "Angry Young Man"

Song From Miami Vice where Ted guest starred as crook.

Don Johnson catches him at the end of course.

I've watched every episode of Miami Vice 50 times I know it has nothing to do with anything, but I just found it searching for Ted Nugent at youtube. Old Don Johnson was freakin cool back then. He got all the chicks.

Here's Ted with the Dang Yankees don't tread on me

Next time I'll post more political stuff I promise.

You'd be surprised how many books Ted Nugent as written. Ted Nugent books Here's a list of Ted Nugent CDs

Angry Young Man? Which album is that from? I've got his Super Hits. Cat Scratch Fever and Stranglehold are his best songs. One of his later songs I thought was pretty good is Fred Bear. Oh, and I can't forget to mention Free for All!

I used to have it on a tape, but I can't remember which one it was. I haven't seen that tape in forever so I guess it must have died. I'm going to have find it on cd sometime.

The Super Hits I got at Wal-Mart for five bucks was a pretty good deal. It had ten songs on it. Only one I didn't like at all, the Wango Tango.

Free for all ftw. Dog eat dog is another one of my favorites.

But the backdrops peel and the sets give way and the cast get eaten by the play, there's a murderer at the matinee, there are dead men in the aisles

And the patrons and the actors too are uncertain if the show is through and with sidelong looks await their cue, but the frozen mask just smiles

Oh yeah, Dog Eat Dog rocks too.

It seems we're all classic rock fans on this forum.
