But the backdrops peel and the sets give way and the cast get eaten by the play, there's a murderer at the matinee, there are dead men in the aisles
And the patrons and the actors too are uncertain if the show is through and with sidelong looks await their cue, but the frozen mask just smiles

Been very busy by the way with superherouniverse thus the reason I haven't posted a whole lot. __________________

Must be odd to hear a candidate talking issues...I know.

Sure whatever you say.

I'm building up the wiki section. I want to have the biggest database on superhero comics related subjects as humanly possible. __________________

Well I hope that others will join in once I get a good list going. See as per wikipedia's license I can use their information to build up the base then add information as I can.
And the big difference between superherouniverse and wiki is we will take subjects like WW2 and reference it as it is in the comic books ie Captain America, All-Star Squadron etc.
Today I worked on Muhammad Ali since Ali fought Superman in the comics. __________________

It' like wikipedia. You log in and create a page on a superhero, villain, or related subject. Just remember though it's not opinion oriented. It's just facts. So it's not about pushing any kind of political agendas or whatever just fun facts about comic books. Just for fun you know. Read a few pages and you'll get the gist.

That don't look like fun Tim. Not to shatter your ambition or anything, but why are you doing this exactly? Adwords related? __________________

Well I haven't added adwords yet, but I do link to the store sections and products that relate to the subjects of each page.
I'm mainly trying to create a site that I know people will get some use out of while making a living of course. It used to be easy to make money online. Now it's getting harder every day. Really got to have good content.
Funny thing to, I really don't know more about any other subject than comic books other than politics, religion, and weightlifting of course. __________________

You've set yourself a monumental task that I personally can't see investing the time in. That sounds horrible and I'm sorry. I understand times are tough-they're going to get even tougher man. That's the horible truth of it. If it's about making your business thrive, work on the business itself.
On the outside looking in, as a person who spends their money on things of this nature, can I suggest focusing on your desired market a bit with the actual store? I went to the store page for Aquaman, which included everything from actual Aquaman merchandise to nonrelated wetsuits and cologne. That's a huge turnoff seeing 238 pages and stuff like that on the first one-and this is just Aquaman we're talking about here. He's not the huge icon that Supes and Batman and Spidey are. People who have come that far would have to be pretty determined to go past the first page.
The store front itself is bland and practically lifeless, which means they might not bother making it to a character page in the first place. Considering how tough things are economically, you might want to focus specifically on rock bottom sales items to get them to turn another page from the front. Along the sides do stuff like new releases and pre-orders and announcements-maybe a contest to get them to repeat visit. Maybe you could use one of your comic characters as a moscot to guide your customer from one thing to the next. If you do use one as a mascot, you could sell your own merchandise with that character on it as well.
There are so many better things to be doing with your time Tim, as far as this business is concerned. Your most important content has to be that merchandise and reasons for customers to not only buy it then and there, but also come back for more, and if you do that well enough, you generate a buzz from word of mouth. Let the other comic fans do the busy work-mind your business.
That looks pretty bossy, I know. It is well-intentioned though and I hope things pick back up for you soon. __________________

I wrote one article for the wiki, that's all I've done. I haven't had much time lately. Been real busy. I enjoying writing stuff about things that I care about, and in my case its comic books. Marvel mainly though. Captain America, Spider-Man, and the Avengers are my all-time favorites. I have the Complete Collection of all of those characters.

That list looks almost identical to mine, except I'd have to add sports and journalism. __________________

Sometimes the pages change on me because they are created automatically via contacting amazon's database. I added the key word DC Comics and took out a couple of categories that didn't have any Aquaman stuff. I guess I'll take a closer look at them all. Thanks. I'll see what I can figure out about the sides.

I bet amazon coughed up for a second is probably why you didn't see it the first time. __________________

Don't know. It was a long period where nothing loaded. Also there was actually no space for the carousel above the line I quoted earlier, but now there is. Whichever the case may be, you're off to a great start. Keep filling it in.
How about a frame like a celluloid film reel on the right for differtent types of merch- maybe take that carousel and make it vertical. You could fill that in with the characters if you don't want to go by types of merch. Maybe for each chacter you have a department for, put their latest release in the slot. __________________
