But the backdrops peel and the sets give way and the cast get eaten by the play, there's a murderer at the matinee, there are dead men in the aisles
And the patrons and the actors too are uncertain if the show is through and with sidelong looks await their cue, but the frozen mask just smiles

This guy is way radical to me, but he has a point about the hate thing. The radical left comes across as so hateful and angry to me. Sure I can seem hateful at times I suppose, but I try not to be at least. Seems like sometimes the left can be so angry and hateful it's like a bunch of Nazis. 'You vill agree with me or you vill be shot!" You know that kind of thing. __________________

Both sides are guilty in this. Lies, rumors, and other distractions and attacks. __________________

Well attacks is one thing, but I sense a greater degree of anger from dems not in all dems obviously just mainly the hollywood radical left crowd. I never hear anything substantive from those guys just sounds like a bunch of rich high school jocks and preppies picking on the non-elitists or the non-incrowd so to speak in high school terms. __________________

What you are hearing from people on both sides who happen to be going out of their way to trash the other side, is a consequence of the campaign the candidates have been running themselves.
I have to point out that the majority of smear ads have been from the GOP. __________________

The question becomes what is a smear and what is something we the people need to know to make the right decision.
Would pointing Obama's contradictions for instance be considered a smear?
Does the man that thinks this pastor is a great moral leader somebody we want to lead us for instance?

See I don't hate people that want to vote for Obama, but I do fear for this country. I don't feel like screaming bloody murder, but I do feel a greater need to pray for this country.
On the flip side I sincerely get the impression that some liberals think all this is some football game where they have to destroy the other team. It's not about the country it's about winning at any cost. __________________

The conservatives are doing it too. From his running mate(I know you disagree already-this is my opinion and I'm sticking to it), to the lack of materials for observation online, to the smear ads, to all the double talk in the few interviews we've seen so far-the Rove coaching method is in full employ.
Every time one side tries to pin blame solely on the other, they're playing that same game. They're both guilty of this. Looking at your posts, even in this very thread, you're doing it too. Every time I have to point out the GOP is doing the same thing, I'm doing it too.
I'll offer again to make this strictly about the issues. __________________

The difference for me personally is that I am worried more about the country than a party. If people of like minded ideas were suddenly incorporated into the dems party. I'd jump up and down and vote for them. I don't feel like my party affiliation is who I am. The ideas and principles are what matter most. __________________
