The church congregation in Georgia that faced down giants has turned its attention away from football and toward firemen in the save-your-marriage-or-die-trying film Fireproof.

Fireproof Review

Behind the scenes

I think it's refreshing to see some movies created with family values instead of hollywood's values.

But the backdrops peel and the sets give way and the cast get eaten by the play, there's a murderer at the matinee, there are dead men in the aisles

And the patrons and the actors too are uncertain if the show is through and with sidelong looks await their cue, but the frozen mask just smiles

I'm sure it will be a hit.

Actors work in parts they claim are more for artsy purposes all the time that aren't necessarily big box office hits. Kirk works on parts he believes showcase his spiritual beliefs. The main point here is what this movie hopes to achieve which is helping men take stock in the value of their marriage.

Oh brother! Well it sure ain't what it used to be Jr.

I don't see no Father Knows Best on TV anymore do you? Do you even know what Father Knows Best was?

How about the Riflman? Andy Griffith Show? Ever watch an old black and white TV show and compare it to a modern day sitcom?

I'm not that old really if that's what you are thinking. I grew up in the 80's, but I value the old TV shows in their values much more than the new stuff.

The only new stuff I watch is the action sci-fi stuff. I rarely see any sitcoms worth watching more than 2 seconds. New Sitcoms are propaganda for liberalism and heathenism these days. New stuff is good for special effects, but the old stuff is good for actual acting and stories. They had a way of making you care for the characters on the screen that new stuff doesn't have time for.

Do yourself a favor Jr. and watch It's a Wonderful Life 5 times.
