Instead of trying to change this society to his preference, away from what everyone or anyone else wants, he should maybe consider moving to one more suitable to his tastes, like Iraq. __________________ But the backdrops peel and the sets give way and the cast get eaten by the play, there's a murderer at the matinee, there are dead men in the aisles And the patrons and the actors too are uncertain if the show is through and with sidelong looks await their cue, but the frozen mask just smiles

All he was saying basically is that based on his Christian beliefs and Obama's beliefs he cannot vote for him. No I believe this statement is based on the media's claim that more Americans believe Obama better on the economy than McCain. He's actually saying we're doomed if we get these issues and a few others wrong, therefore economics won't be a concern when we're doomed. It's not actually the issues themselves being balanced one against another.
