I can picture upset in the audience already. Don't get thrown off by the title or that I posted this. It's a pretty good documentary produced by Morgan Spurlock, the guy who did 'Super Size Me' and does that show '30 days...'. It's about consumerism and overconsumption in light of the holiday (shopping) season. Not exactly earthshaking revelations here, but informative and entertaining just the same. I reccommend it, especially to folks who remember what Christmas is supposed to be about.

But the backdrops peel and the sets give way and the cast get eaten by the play, there's a murderer at the matinee, there are dead men in the aisles

And the patrons and the actors too are uncertain if the show is through and with sidelong looks await their cue, but the frozen mask just smiles

Christmas is about celebrating Jesus birth, but I love snowmen, Santa Claus, Christmas specials, and all the rest. Spending and giving gifts is cool too, but I do believe people shouldn't borrow to buy gifts.

If everyone would only buy what they could afford they would eventually be able to buy it anyway without paying all that interest. Credit card debt is a bottomless pit. I hate credit cards with a passion. They are just too easy to get.

Uh what do you think about that moneyman and his post about the disability? Think that's on the level or is he still trying to spam us?

I think anyone who would come to your site just to sell something without your consent or even so much as an offer of compensation does not warrant keeping an account, much less any form of trust-people like that are usually bad business of some sort. Of course, it might be a regular user having some fun. Your board, your decision.

He's running around a bunch of my boards posting the same links. He's most likely just a spammer.

If somebody wants to link to their site all they have to do is become an actual member that adds to our discussions. They can put links in their signature.

Just not cool to come on here just to post a link to something that's not even relevant.

Might be a green new business owner just trying to drum up business too. Could be someone with an actual sick child as well. You should talk with them somehow and gauge for yourself.
