So you are voting for Barr? I'm surprised.

McCain got my vote obviously.

Yes I am. I know it's highly unlikely for him to win. Truthfully, it's damn near impossible for him to win with our present system and party self interest. I figure this is where my vote will actually count, and he's honestly the best choice available as an actual candidate. Him and Root should have been involved in the debates-we would have had a completely different show if they had.

I don't agree 100% with his foreign policy but everything else is absolutely -on point- with what I would want from our President. Perhaps Dr Paul can talk some sense into him about foreign policy. I can hope.

It's a much better choice than Obama. I wonder what would it be like if there were no parties. Would it be cluttered with too many choices? How would an election look like with no demoncrats or republicans, just candidates?

Each candidate can call themselves whatever kind of candidate they want, or each set of nominees can determine what their party is.

I just got my info packet from my county commissioner of registration and there are three actual socialist parties on the ticket next to one poor people's campaign.

You've alredy tried voting the issues without even attaching a candidate to the process. That could be fun too.
