the whole New World Order thing has been something evangelicals have been preaching about since at least I was a kid.

I'd be interested in hearing exactly what was preached on this subject.

Well it's all part of the tribulation period. 7 years after Jesus is to return the anti-christ takes over a one world government.

So preachers have long spoke of a one world government where money is no longer used instead the number 666 is used for commerce.

Every time the world comes closer together like this euro dollar or something similar I usually hear some preacher discussing it's implications to a world controlled by the anti-christ.

The U.N, and all that has been said to be tied in.

Interestingly enough preachers used to have a hard time explaining how the two prophets in the end time would be seen at the same time all around the world. That is till now since there's CNN, the internet and all the rest we have today.

That's just a quick run down. I don't know what you are familiar with or not familiar with about this subject.

I hate that, "The One" crap that makes me think they are comparing him to Jesus Christ. This video makes him sound like the Anti-Christ.

Tim, if anything for us conservatives, Obama is essentially the "Anti-Reagan", with all his talk in the debates about the answers being bigger government, less idealism, lower military deployment, and especially higher taxes!

Please note that in the debates neither McCain nor Palin shyed away from quoting Reagan in their answers, or at least vocalizing what his ideals had been!

If the economy turns around by the time 4 years is up don't be surprised if Obama doesn't use Reagan's line about being better off now than you were 4 years ago. Clinton used it if my memory serves me correct.

The economy is supposed to turn around by the end of this year according to all the fortune tellers we get to hear in the media.

Once Bush is out, he might say today is better than yesterday after only one day and it wouldn't be invoking Reagan then. After four years of Bush being gone, he'll probably get to say we are better off than four years ago: not only will he probably be correct, but he'll be stating fact at that point and not quoting anyone.

The way I see it he's got a pretty good chance it will be better four years from now just by history. These things rotate. Now if he runs things like Jimmy Carter it will just get worse. He better keep his eye on the energy ball because oil is very volatile and could shoot up once the economy even starts to look better. Then it's back to the drawing board.

According to the crystal ball watchers, oil is definitely going back up and so is the price at the pump, regardless of anything he does or whatever else is happening in the economy(except for the value of the dollar which seems to have serious impct).

And so the days of Jimmy Carter may revisit us for four more years.

That would be the least of your problems at this point.

I want to keep this thread at the top till Obama leaves in 4 years.

Because I want to see if Obama, for instance, lowers taxes for anyone.

Well Tim, as of two nights ago he started socializing America with this $800M 'stimulus bill'. If he's not raising taxes, then who's paying for this second of his many travesties? The first was this dumb-jock being elected in the first place! Anyone with half a brain knows he was elected because of his race, not his qualifications(or lack thereof)! Obama will go down in history, if there's any left to be written when he's done, as the most distorted and damaging case of affirmative action gone bad, EVER!

I always wanted Alan Keyes to be the first black President either that or the guy from 24.

I think the economy would benefit much more by the President talking it up than spending all this money on it.
